Buddhist Recitations
Location: Kaba Aye Hillock
Recitation of five parts of Nikaya held at Kaba Aye Hillock.Similar recitations are also held townshipwise throughout the country by both monks and nuns.
Robe-offering
Usually held between the fullmoon days of Thidingyut and Tazaunmon.
Novitiation
Held when farmers wrap up harvest and children end their academic year. Usually falls in Feb, Mar and Apr.
Wedding
Myanmar's shun having weddings during the 3-month long Buddhist Lent. It is considered inauspicious to wed during this period.
