Breakfast at hotel and chec kout for departure flight to tBagan in the early morning. Transfer to the hotel for a check-in. Start your morning sightseeing tour with visit to a diverse selection of pagodas and temples such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawratha in the early 11th century and Ananda Temple with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures arranged around the interior gallery. Inspection of hotels. In the afternoon, sightseeing continues with visit to a lacquer ware workshop nearby Myingabar village. Stroll around Myingabar village to observe the life style of locals and visit to Myingaba Gy Byauk Gyi Temple, famous for its ancient mural paintings and MYAZEDI STUPA to see Myanmar’s “Rosetta Stone”, bearing inscriptions written in four languages. Visit Bu Paya Stupa at sunset, overlooking the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River to witness a breathtaking sunset behind the mountains across the river. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 03 14 JUNE 2011 (TUE) BAGAN

This morning, you will take a stroll through busy Nyaung Oo Market. Bagan is not only the site of thousand year old temples and pagodas, but also of many quaint villages scattered throughout the temple plain. Leave from your hotel by horse-carts and travel over dusty lanes and tree shaded roads past temples and monasteries to Taung Bi village. Visit the noodle makers, a Myanmar-style movie theatre, the village hairdresser and the local tea shop. Continue to the Irrawaddy River and along the way pay a visit to some of the family businesses including blacksmiths, brick makers, dry snack ‘factories’ and bamboo roof producers. They pursue their trade since generations in the same traditional way. Return to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will continue with hotel inspections. Enjoy the panoramic view of Bagan and beautiful sunset in the evening from the elevated terraces of Shwe San Daw Stupa. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 04 15 JUNE 2011 (WED) BAGAN-MANDALAY

Breakfast at hotel and checkout for departure flight to Mandalay in the morning. Arrive Mandalay and proceed to Amarapura and visit the famous Maha Gandhayone Monastery and picturesque U Bein Wooden Bridge on Taungthaman Lake. Continue to Mandalay and pass the marble carving street where thousands of Buddha images are made en route to Mahamunni Pagoda, revered as one of the holiest pagodas in Myanmar, en route. You will also see the gold leaf making workshop. Inspection of the hotels. Hightlights of the day also include a visit to beautiful teak monastery of Shwe Kyaung (Golden Palace Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda with its 729 Marble slabs of Buddhist scriptures. If time permits, you will enjoy the magnificent view of the sunset and surrounding countryside from the
top of Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 5 16 JUNE 2011 (THU) MANDALAY - HEHO - INLE LAKE

Breakfast at the hotel and check out for departure flight to Heho in the morning. Arrive Heho and transfer to Nyaung Shwe. Proceed to Inle and enjoy the sightseeing by boat in the vast and picturesque lake Inle. Observe the unique one-legged rowing technique and traditional methods of fishing. Hotel Inspections. Overnight in Inle Lake.

DAY 6 17 JUNE 2011 (FRI) INLE LAKE

Breakfast at hotel. A full day exploration of Inle Lake includes the floating gardens; the Nga Phe Chaung monastery; the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda; the local weaving industries and the fascinating trip to Indein. Overnight in Inle Lake

DAY 7 18 JUNE 2011 (SAT) INLE LAKE - HEHO - YANGON

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Nyaung Shwe and proceed to Heho for departure flight to Yangon. Arrive Yangon. Shopping at the sprawling Bogyoke Aung San market where gems & jewelleries, lacquerware, woodcarvings, silverware, paintings and other handicrafts are available. Debriefing at the hotel to exchange comments and experiences, meet up with hoteliers and tour operator in town and to establish contacts for future business. Dinner at Padonmar or Monsoon Restaurant. Overnight in Yangon

DAY 8 19 JUNE 2011 (SUN) DEPARTURE YANGON

Morning at Leisure till transfer to Yangon airport for departure flight to Bangkok, Singapore , Kuala Lumpur , Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh.
