As Myanmar (Burma) face to Adman Sea at her foot, Indian Ocean at his front, we have a lot of beaches a long Myanmar Coastal. Some are them are discovered and well known among several wild beaches in Myanmar. They are Ngapali Beach in Rakhine (Arakan), Chaung Tha Beach and Ngwe Saung Beach in Ayeyarwaddy Division, Maung Ma Gan and Setse beach in the South Part of the Country.

Ngapali is located in Thandwe (Sandoway) about an hour flight from Yangon. This un-spoilt beach stretches over 3 km and is an ideal place for everyone who loves sea, sand, sun or swimming, snorkeling or carefree loitering on the beach, exploring or just sitting amidst whistling wind. There is a nine-hole golf course only three miles away from the Ngapali Hotel. Nearby fishing villages there are also interesting places. Ngapali Beach opens from October to May.

Chaung-Tha Beach is located 40 km to the west of Pathein (Bassein) in Ayeyarwaddy Division. It is a very convenient drive from Yangon via Pathein about 5 hours. There are bungalow type hotels along the beach with modern facilities.

It is a newly opened beach about 48 km from Pathein. This unspoilt beach stretches 15 km of white sand and blue sea. There are newly constructed bungalows with local flavour but equipped with modern facilities. Fringed with palm trees, all hotels face the beach.

It is a virgin beach with white sand and blue sea, located near Dawei at Tanintharyi Division. Maungmagan Beach is alive with the fisherman and their fishing boats returning after a night's fishing at the sea and carrying out preparations to go out to the open sea again in the evening.Thus the fishermen of Maungmagan are familiar with the majestic sea while happily carrying out fishing skillfully as their living by tradition.

It lies 24 km south of Kyaikkami and 16 km south-west of Thanbyuzayut, Mon State. It is a very wide, brown-sand beach that tends toward tidal flats when the shallow surf-line recedes at low tide. The beach is lined by waving casuarinas trees. Vendors sell fresh young coconuts full of juice, and restaurants serve seafood. It is one of the noted beaches in Myanmar.
